Synopsis
From its conception in 1865 to its inauguration on Bedloe's Island at the end of the 19th century, The Epic of Lady Liberty retraces the extraordinary history of the Statue of Liberty: that of a French idea which became the global symbol of America, of a gift between two republics and of a deep friendship between two countries, in the name of shared values and common ideals of democracy, human dignity, liberty and justice.
